We had a big spacious site with a great view of the lake. Our water and electric hook up was right behind us, where as my parents was shared with another site in front of them . Luckily they had enough cord and hose. Great place to walk dogs, go fishing, playground for kids.

We had a beautiful site near the boat launch. The sunrise on our last day was fabulous and I was able to see a short tailed weasel, something not spotted too often in Pennsylvania. This spot also gave us close proximity to Lake Cowenesque, so we were able to explore both lakes. The maps were a bit sketchy and we had to go to an outside visitor center to help us find our way to the dam and other sites. Another problem we had was what to do with our dishwater. We were told not to dump it in the grass and two different hosts gave us different suggestions until they could get back to us. Noone ever did.

Campground is spacious. Site fit our 40' fifth wheel and barely fit our dually truck, but the views of the lake were amazing. With our Access pass, we paid less than $20/night.

My wife and I always enjoy staying at Ives Run near Tioga, PA. It's truly one of our favorite places to stay. Very clean and well maintained. If all goes well, we will be camping there for the first two weeks next May.

This is one of our most favorite camping spots with our camping group ... which includes about 6-8 campers/RV's and about 16 over 50 aged people.
We keep coming back about the same weekend every year since about 2015 and we LOVE it....
It is clean, peaceful, beautiful setting, sites are ample and not too close...the park is layed out very well....
We usually take a day and drive into New York to purchase our wine supply for the holidays, but for the most part, we just like to quietly enjoy the setting, the community, our friends, and the beautiful outdoors!
Did I say we absolutely LOVE it.
Thank you!!

Ives Run is our favorite place to camp, we've been going there for years. Admittedly, it is difficult to get our preferred sites sometimes but that just shows how popular the campground is. We live in NY and have to drive two hours to be able to camp in such a beautiful place. Either of the ACOE campgrounds along the route is well worth the trip and we try to go to both a couple of times per season. You've got the lake and hiking trails depending on your type of recreation and if you decide to take a day trip, the surrounding area is beautiful as well. Wellsboro is a notable place to check out and only a short drive to the Grand Canyon of the East. There may very well be more attractions in the area but we typically go to this campground to get away from the routine of daily life. So for the most part we are grounded when we get here and we are OK with that. It's beautiful and peaceful!!!

We stayed at Ives Run on 5/7/23. My husband drove our truck and camper and I drove my car. I arrived about 5 minutes before him and parked my car. I was helping him back into our site when the camp hosts came and yelled at us because my car was on the grass. I explained that as soon as we were parked on the site, my husband would put the truck on one side of the driveway and my car would be on the other. What a warm welcome, she said the park ranger could write me a ticket. We stayed one night and left the next morning.
PS. If they were so neurotic about the grass, why hadn’t it been mowed? It was as tall as the dandelions. We won’t bother going back. We used to love this place but these camp hosts were nasty!!
