Nice large camping spots. Super reasonable cost with National Parks Pass. Very handy to the Pine Creek Trail that goes through the PA Grand Canyon. Nice lake at Ives Run with all kinds of water crafts available.

Beautiful, spacious campsites with electric & water hookups in the Hickory Loop. Nice trails to hike, and loved the “unsupervised” swimming area so I could do some lap swimming in early AM unbothered. Nice bathrooms with showers, great hosts. Only downside was camp was not open - I think because of staffing shortage

Power was knocked out to the campsite multiple times due to storms prior to and after our arrival. The camp store is closed yet still shown on the maps. No mention of the camp store being closed permanently. Camp host for Hawthorn loop was bothered by the fact that we were gone most of our last day there. We where back within an hour of check out tho and he still felt it necessary to stop by an tell us that... weird. Overall a nice campground on a lake with decent cel signal and a few tv stations. Close to PA Grand Canyon.

Alway a great place and time there, heat wave for a few days, we usually go for 14 days at a time. Lost power twice for a couple hours (luckily not during heatwave) which is normal but all most all of the time not the park's fault, tree limbs falling on wires, accidents, and once last year a Bald eagle with a rabbit landed one wire with rabbit touching other wire started a fire. Very nice place close to other things to do beside the lake.
