very pleasant, quiet and peaceful stay. enjoyed the say except for the hickory tussock moth caterpillar that were all over everything. They have barbs on both ends and can cause severe allergic reactions. I got hives all over my arm from having one on me. Not a complaint just be aware that nature is not always your friend.

The size of the sites are amazing. Nice, long driveway space. Lean campsites. Definitely one of our favorite campgrounds.

Beautiful camp ground. It would be great if camp store was open. Especially to provide wood and ice for sale.

The current reservation system works well. You must plan your stay months in advance to get the sites you want. The area has a lot to offer. We have been camping at Ives Run for many years and enjoy biking on the Pine Creek Rail Trail, spending time in Wellsboro, and the eating at local restaurants. Since it is only two hours from our home in Sullivan County, Ives Run is convenient for us. When we arrive at our site, it is always ready with our name on the site post and the fireplace cleaned out.

Only problem was the sap from the pine tree overhanging to parking spot and getting on my husband's truck. Took him 11/2 hours to clean it off. However the park ranger came and cut down the limb!
There is also a dead tree behind the spot that no one would miss if it went away!

There is a huge lack of trimming tree branches, in the loops and worse is the campsite. With taller campers, esp 5th wheels many roofs are getting scored or torn. Trim the branches. Take a 14’ pole, trim the branches.

Very clean, plenty of space between campsites, beautiful views, near Pa Grand Canyon, Watkins Glen. Biking, hiking, or just a drive in the mountains. Large lake to kayak.
Highly recommend this campground.

We love camping at Ives Run. It is so peaceful and enjoyable. Fishing is enjoyable and it is fun to go to the beach and bike riding is great. Visiting the snakes is always something the grandkids love to do.
