We ended up in the Hickory Loop, 118. Nice site. A bit of traffic due to the road to the Pine Loop being nearby. We originally booked a tent site in the Pine Loop but changed once we saw that the bathroom was a building containing vault toilets and not flush toilets with water. No indication of that on the Ives Run page. One other thing. the restroom/shower facility in the Hickory loop was a 4 unit combo shower/toilet room. This facility is small considering it served both Hickory and the Pine Loop campers that had to travel the 3/4 mile to use a facility with water. For comparison, the Hawthorn Loop was a building with showers (4) separate from the 4 stall restroom side and therefore could accommodate more people than the 4 unit Hickory combo restroom/shower facility.

Ives Run is a very clean campground with large sites. People are very friendly. My favorite campground.

This is a beautiful campground with wide, spacious lots overlooking the lake while surrounded by mountains. The camp store has basic supplies but you are also close enough to Wellsboro or Mansfield for anything more substantial. The ATT cell coverage was good and provided enough data to stream movies. The bathhouses are okay. They are are clean but need a coat of paint/refresh. The wildlife (deer, groundhogs, rabbits) were abundant. There were lots of great playgrounds for the children. The only odd thing was, we never saw a ranger or camp host in person during our whole stay. There are camp hosts, but no one verified our passes or stopped by our site (and no one is at the entrance gate, which lowers the security protections).

The park was very well planned and clean. WiFi sketchy and outside of the park we found very little to do. Bring food with you. There was a gas station but we need diesel and not good for entry and leaving.
Staff very nice.

the campground is great. There is plenty of space between sites not like some campgrounds that pack you in so tight you feel like you open your door and touch the unit beside you. For being a busy place it is normaly calm.

We were on Lot 32. The park is lacking maintenance. The sites need to have picnic areas maintained, remove weeds, add more stones. Some sites need to have trees trimmed, on several sites tree limbs hitting taller campers. The bath houses need updated. I do not see any of the maintenance folks doing this work, we were there 5 days. A lot of time is spent by the park crew and hosts driving around. Not very productive. Do a little bit every day and that will get you there. The electric service boxes are old and should be updated.
