We had a fantastic time. Very roomy and bathrooms were clean. Great for first time campers too. Make sure to bring your food beforehand. The closest grocery store is quite far.

Loved this site! I'm a solo tent only camper and so many camp sites are full of RV's and the hum of modernity, that I may as well be in the city. Peaceful and felt safe.

Campground was nice enough, however the women's restroom was locked the first night we were there and there were some very loud people gathering in the parking lot till ~midnight or so. That being said, we absolutely loved our visit to Congaree. Highly recommend bringing a kayak or SUP and enjoying the water routes as well as hiking.

Basic but pleasant campground; quiet and conveniently situated near the park entrance. Outhouse-style toilets and running water at the Harry Hampton Visitor Center up the road. Individual campsites feature a fire ring, picnic tables, and an area to pitch your tent. There is one big gravel parking lot a short walk away from the campground. I stayed at individual campsite #3 for one night and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful, primitive aspects of this campsite.

Lovely spot, with convenient access to the trails and close to the visitor's center. Over the weekend, the campground was busy and a little loud, including folks playing amplified music. But the park was gorgeous, and I recommend a kayak tour, in addition to the boardwalk and hiking trails!

Very quiet and private campsite. Lots of healthy trees to hang my hammock tent. Even though the trails had tons of mosquitoes and biting flies, the campgrounds did not. Vault toilets were smelly but clean. Had a solar charging station at the parking lot area, but I didn’t test it out. Clean and well maintained campground

Site was nice and clean, and staff at visitor center were amazing! Only problems were that the women's bathroom was accidentally locked all night, and the men's restroom had been gross.

Campground was nice and the vault toilets were clean. There was a large youth group that came in sort of late and were quite loud that was a bit annoying and all their vehicles made parking a bit difficult, but it was otherwise a great campground!
