Wonderful campground to visit or stay long term. Easily accessible off the freeway. Clean bath house and fun activities! You can tell the owners and staff really care about the campground and guests. Check it out next time you’re in the area or in need of a monthly stay.

Nice place for a stay. Good level spots. Showers and laundry were nice. Pickle ball courts were a surprise. Very friendly staff. Pool looks good but closed for Christmas. Will be back.

We arrived to the resort late, after 10:00 PM. Someone was there with a golf cart and showed us personally to our site and helped us back in. Which honestly was going above and beyond. We just stayed one night as we were just traveling through, but it was quiet, well secured, and the showers were hot and clean.

Office staff was terrific. Sites were long for our 40’ plus tow vehicle, although some what narrow. They try to keep the dust under control, by watering the roads. With the heat it was a lost cause. My RV and car was extremely dusty after just a one night stay. They placed Astroturf for the patio area, which worked out great, but after a rain the site became very muddy. They have a great pool area and the location is close to area shops and restaurants. However, the park is very rustic and calling it a resort is ify.

We stayed two nights at Big Rig Friendly RV Resort in West Columbia, SC, and it absolutely lived up to its name! Our spacious pull-through site had both gravel and reclaimed astroturf - such a thoughtful touch that really helps keep mud and mess out of the RV.
From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A friendly gentleman guided us to our site, and the team even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The name says it all—Big Rig Friendly and genuinely friendly, too.
Access is a breeze - just three miles from the I-77/I-26 interchange and only 10 minutes from downtown Columbia. There’s plenty to do nearby, with restaurants, shopping, museums, and golf courses all close at hand.
The resort itself is packed with great amenities: two pools (one of which we enjoyed), four brand-new pickleball courts, full hookups at every site, buddy sites available, a well-kept dog park, and even a dog wash station. Our pups gave it two paws up!
This was perfect for a short stay, but we’d absolutely return for a longer visit. It’s great to know we’ve found a reliable spot that’s both easy and enjoyable for big rigs like ours.
Highly recommend!
