Loved how simple and easy the week was. Very quiet and respectful of others. Will be back when we can get a site.

Great place to unwind! Walking trail is well kept and enjoyable.
Campground is small with large sites. We stayed on site 13 which is very long and shaded.
We would definitely visit again!

This was a great location for us to stay out while touring Charleston. It's far enough away that you are not caught up in all the congested traffic leading into the city. The campground itself is small and quiet. The spaces are plenty far apart. The main road inside the park is a bit narrow, making navigation for big rigs a little challenging. We have a 42' 5th wheel and was able to barely keep the tires on the hard surface around the turns. Anything less than that and you will be just fine. We got to watch a beautiful sunrise every morning across the water.

Everything was calm and quiet on our quick overnight stay. Thought it strange we were only one with a campfire. Took our bikes on short tide through trails. Bathrooms and property clean and maintained. Camp hosted met with us soon after arrival. We were van camping and decided not to set up our tent which she told us was against rule. Suspicion is thrown upon campers with no setup using campground with ulterior motives. Glad they are on guard! We were told in warmer months the campground is full with fishermen and boats and can be much louder. Glad we came through in February.

This has become a go-to last minute getaway for me, I have been frotunate and flexible to get a few days here and there. It is a small campground and the sites are spacious. I love the Intracoastal waterway views. It is close to several beaches and state parks for day trips.

Beautiful small park. Quiet. Great views of intracoastal waterway. Most RV sites are large. Bathhouse needs updating, but not a game changer. There is a boat dock and fishing pier. The Palmetto Trail also begins/ends there.
