This is a beautiful, small park right on the Intracoastal Waterway. The park is geared toward water-loving folks with a boat ramp and a dock. There is one short trail, but otherwise nothing else to do but relax and enjoy the scenery. We were only there for one night, but it was quiet, our campsite was level and the hookups were fine. We did not see the camp host until we intentionally looked for him to inquire about firewood. The campground does not provide firewood and the closest place to purchase is Tractor Supply, about 10 miles south. We will come back for an overnight as we are traveling through. Because we are primarily cyclists and hikers, we probably will not stay longer.

There are so many options for paddling a kayak that I have been coming to buck hall for nearly ten years......a small site that I think now has been found. Sunrise is special part of waking up. And looking out across marsh has always transported me.....truly a beautiful place to camp!

Lovely setting on the intercostal way. Watched a full moon rise first night an woke to birds chirping. Peaceful, clean camp. A lot of space between you and your neighbors. Like this small campground!

Would have been perfect camping experience except for the bugs that ate me alive.

I like this camping, this is our third visit but I really am very disappointed in who ever is assigned to clean the rest room and showers. I know the facilities are dated but that is no excuse for build up of generations of dead bugs and spiders webs and lack of regular cleaning

Interesting salt water venue to visit and a very unique facility. Small camp area and ramps. Always something interesting passing by and the dolphin play is exciting.

This NFCG is a gem in the rough and sorely needs some attention. It is well past time to invest some $$ into renovating the bathhouse and more attention to the landscaping. Sorry to say, it is unlikely that we will be staying here again (even for one night as we did for this stay).
Also... loud party (I'm sure permitted) in the day use area was distracting to enjoying any peace and quiet to enjoy nature.

Quiet and well kept. Sites are roomy. Restrooms show a little wear but were clean.
Will be back.
