This place is super noisy mainly due to the camp hosts’ grandchildren who run and tide bikes through all the campsites and literally scream from sunup to well past sundown (past my bedtime). We usually backpack along the River but my wife had sprained her ankle so this was a compromise. Could have been great. The place was beautiful and the showers were great after a hike. Bathrooms were decent. Just too noisy for me. Got very little sleep. But if you have loud kids or like loud kids, go for it. Also there is no trail sign from the direction of the park so I ended up going way out of my way to hike to the River. Found the trail I should have taken from the River so the hike back was nice. There are no signs or maps from the campground.

It was creepy. No one was there to check in with. It seemed run-down. I left in the middle of the night because I did not feel safe.

I don’t know why you ask for reviews because nothing is ever done to fix the problem. The showers water is so hot on the cold setting that you have to use the hand held piece they also need maintenance real bad and there not very clean and have no hand soap. This is a great place to stay but the restrooms really need some attention. Please do something about this

We were in the no electric tent site with a shared water site. We enjoyed it very much. Only problem was the noise. A group of about 8 young men were extremely loud until after 1am when another camp site told them to quiet down and lights out. It would be nice if the camp host would drive around to be sure people are lights out and quiet at the designated time. Very little sleep!!

I have been trying to cancel this reservation since the morning after I made it. There is never a park ranger or anything around to talk to about cancelling & recreation.gov can only do so much without speaking to whoever is the attending at this campground. Not at all a good experience!

Beautiful waterfalls and nature trails nearby. Also visited some historic sites: Stumphouse Tunnel in Walhalla, Hagood Mill Historic Village in Pickens, and Clemson University Botanical Gardens...all a must see. Our site was roomy and private (# 5) with water and restroom/bathhouse near. We were at Cherryhill 4 nights and will be back.

Very close to hiking and waterfalls. Try to not be there on weekends if noise bothers your. During the week early in the season is best.
