What Guests Are Saying
West Fork Campground offers a serene escape with private, well-spaced sites and direct access to the water, making it a great choice for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful getaway. However, maintenance issues such as dilapidated bathrooms and overflowing trash in bear boxes detract from the overall experience. Despite these concerns, many campers appreciate the campground's natural beauty and the opportunity to disconnect from daily life.

This so called campground looks like it hasn't had a dime spent on maintenance, much less clean up, in a very long time. The bear boxes were full of trash. At least one site's picnic table was nearly completely destroyed by vandalism. The bathrooms were barely functional and the doors would not close. We got there fairly late and if we weren't desperate for a place to camp that night I would have kept right on going. I don't understand why some campgrounds, like Tallulah River Campground we stayed at a few days earlier, are so much better maintained, and some like this one are so sadly dilapidated and not maintained.

The service fee for one night of camping is almost as much camping fee. And if you've paid for a Senior pass, the service fee is actually more than the cost of the campsite.

Amazing place to visit. We had the dogs and one of our dogs is not so dog friendly. Due to spread out nature of each campsite it was absolutely perfect. Each site was super private except 2 and 3 which kind of merged together so that would be a great place for a group. Each site had its own private entrance to the water. #1 where we stayed was not a spot where you could actually get in the water but the other ones had lovely swim accessibility. You cannot campground in your car as there was a parking lot and you needed to carry your stuff a short distance. Not too bad nothing crazy. We were more than pleased here, as most spots are so close. These were beyond expectation. We are going to make this our go to spot! Can't recommend enough! Zero cell service with t mobile
