What Guests Are Saying
Sarah's Creek Campground offers a beautiful and clean environment with well-maintained sites, many of which are spacious and located near the creek, providing a serene backdrop for camping. Many visitors appreciate the ample opportunities for fishing, hiking, and exploring the surrounding nature, with some sites noted for their privacy and seclusion. However, there are occasional concerns about noise from other campers and the need for better management of reservations and restroom facilities. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for both seasoned campers and newcomers.

I had seen a photo of site #8, but when I got there, it wasn't the same. The site isn't flat—it's on a slope—and it's smaller than in the photo. Sites 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are excellent. I chose site 6 in the hope that no one else would be there. Site #7 is more secluded. I didn't check the others.Add more picture please

Area was nice, campground was clean so that was appreciated. Had a lot wander through the grounds fishing and passing through. I didn't see any attention to the restroom the entire weekend, it was a good thing we brought our own toilet paper.

Sarah’s Creek gives the experience of primitive camping or overlanding but with a reserved spot that includes a vault toilet, nice tent pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Plenty of space at site 8. It’s right on the creek. Site 7 is the only visible campsite neighbor and is directly across the road, which might not be ideal depending on who’s there. Would recommend.

I love this place. I have been coming to Sarah's Creek for more than 10 years now. I have seen a lot of changes over the years. Its a great place to chill and relax. But if you want some adventure there is plenty to see. Tons of places to hike and explore. Several good fishing spots and hunting as well. If you have kids there are several great sites to camp next to the creek.

I love Sarah's Creek and all surrounding areas but this app and website are horrible and I'm betting none of the money collected is going back into these parks. Shame all the sites use it now.

Had an amazing time at site#8, which was big enough for 2 cars plus small offroad trailers.
Everything was kept very clean but the road needs some work though. I wish there would be more photos of each site available on recreation.gov, took me hours of googling to find photos online of site#8 and booked it. Other than that, of course it was quite at this time of the year but there are some more remote spots I would choose for a busier season.

We brought a make-shift travel trailer to camp in for 1 night at Sarah's Creek. We stayed in site #20 which was close to the waterfall. It was cold so we didn't explore that much and left early the next day due to rain coming in. The only thing we had an issue was that there is absolutely NO internet or phone service so we had to go all the way into town, download the recreation.gov app and then book the spot.
