Enjoyed the trip but the road to the campsite is in bad shape. Has been for years. Where does our tax money go? I have a small 20ft camping trailer and its getting to the point I am scared to carry it. Please repair the road

As usual, the road is in poor shape. This District of the Chattahochee NF does a terrible job of road maintenance.
Roads are not kept in compliance with Best Management Practices (BMPs) for water quality.
Ditches aren’t kept open, culverts are clogged and grading(when rarely done) does not crown roads.
Therefore, water often runs down the roads making travel difficult and depositing sediment into the streams.

The campground is clean and nice. The latrine can be smelly but has always been clean and stocked with TP. My only complaint is with the new reservation system. Why would they implement an online only reservation system in the woods with no service!? I made a mistake on my reservation and could not fix it because it’s in the woods with no service! Cash in envelopes and first come first serve was a much better system.

This campground was exactly what I was looking for.......no frills, a bit off the beaten path, in the woods, by a creek and has a clean pit toilet! Those are my main requirements for a campground and you cannot beat the price at $10/night. I was there mid week, so it wasn't busy. I also camped in my Subaru, at site 22. Site 22 isn't near any other camp spots and you have a creek right beside your picnic table!! While its a bit off the beaten path, its not terribly far from downtown Clayton or hiking trails!

I had seen a photo of site #8, but when I got there, it wasn't the same. The site isn't flat—it's on a slope—and it's smaller than in the photo. Sites 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are excellent. I chose site 6 in the hope that no one else would be there. Site #7 is more secluded. I didn't check the others.Add more picture please
