What Guests Are Saying
Sarah's Creek Campground offers a beautiful and clean environment with well-maintained sites, many of which are spacious and located near the creek, providing a serene backdrop for camping. Many visitors appreciate the ample opportunities for fishing, hiking, and exploring the surrounding nature, with some sites noted for their privacy and seclusion. However, there are occasional concerns about noise from other campers and the need for better management of reservations and restroom facilities. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for both seasoned campers and newcomers.

When we got there someone had already set up in our spot. So we had to wait while they packed up.
Other than that it was great, the spot was beautiful. Had a good time

Great campground beside a small creek. We stayed at site 12. It was quite spacious, with two picnic tables, two fire rings and two lantern/hanging posts. You could easily fit several large tents and a few cars in the site. It isn't close to the bathrooms but there's plenty of privacy from other campsites. Fun drive in to the site and it seemed well maintained overall.

I have stayed at Sarah's Creek campground many times, although this was the first time at Campsite 8. Nice level tent pad,
adequate parking, and a site by the creek - nice background noise.

Our Trail Life ( Faith based boys outdoorsman similar to Boy Scouts) group had 1-5 reserved. I stayed on Site 2 and site 3 was where we all gathered for meals. ALL were excellent sites. Right by the creek and plenty of shade on site 3. It also had a good place to take a bath in the creek and the swimming hole off of 1 was only a minute walk. Nice deep hole ( about 6’) and plenty of sliding rocks. Also near the toilet but far enough away to not smell it.

Sarah's Creek is simply lovely. I almost hate to write a good review because I like Sarah's Creek being a hidden gem. Ha.

Sarahs Creek is reserved campsites yet no one is there to manage them. We had campers in our campsite. We took the site beside ours and told those in our campsite that if we had to move, they would have to move from our reserved site. Also, the sites need some work, more gravel and several sites need new picnic tables.
