What Guests Are Saying
West Fork Campground offers a serene escape with private, well-spaced sites and direct access to the water, making it a great choice for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful getaway. However, maintenance issues such as dilapidated bathrooms and overflowing trash in bear boxes detract from the overall experience. Despite these concerns, many campers appreciate the campground's natural beauty and the opportunity to disconnect from daily life.

The campground is small. It only has five sites. Keep that in mind. Sites, 1, 4 and 5 are separate enough for privacy, however sites 2 and 3 are side by side. That could be remedied by having foliage put in between the two sites to help with that. A washout has been used as a path to both 2 and 3 making that seem like the way to go. However, the path to site 1 allows access to 2 and 3, separately as well. Fixing and closing off the washout will also help campers go the right way without interrupting other campers and sites. The bathrooms need fully renovated and the trash cans need updated with working latches. Walking paths are throughout and pretty much connect all the sites the the river without invading other people's space. But you will most likely hear other campers while there. There is a central parking lot so you'll have to carry your supplies to each site. They are fairly short walks with site 1 being the farthest but it's also the farthest away from the others in general.
