It was creepy. No one was there to check in with. It seemed run-down. I left in the middle of the night because I did not feel safe.

This place is super noisy mainly due to the camp hosts’ grandchildren who run and tide bikes through all the campsites and literally scream from sunup to well past sundown (past my bedtime). We usually backpack along the River but my wife had sprained her ankle so this was a compromise. Could have been great. The place was beautiful and the showers were great after a hike. Bathrooms were decent. Just too noisy for me. Got very little sleep. But if you have loud kids or like loud kids, go for it. Also there is no trail sign from the direction of the park so I ended up going way out of my way to hike to the River. Found the trail I should have taken from the River so the hike back was nice. There are no signs or maps from the campground.

Sites were really nice.
The fire pit grill is not good. I feel like it’s not safe to cook over whatever has been burned in the pit. A camp grill like other sites is recommended

Cherry Hill Campground was awesome! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable place this is it! There is no cell service! It is just you and nature's beauty. There is spigots for water around the campground. We had gallon jugs to refill. The well water there was amazing! It did rain quite a bit. In a camper it wasn't bad. If you tent camp you may want more tarps to protect you and belongings from the rain. We still had an amazing time! Special shout out to the host... Lester and Janice! Very nice couple! I would go back again!

A trip to the state fish hatchery for a picnic is a nice close-by place to go.

Cherry Hill is an amazing camp ground. The camp spaces are big with lots of cleared space and each has a large picnic table and firepit with cooking grate. There is a lot of wooded area between you and your camp neighbor which allow plenty of privacy. The caretakers are extremely nice and helpful. Restrooms/showers are clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing camping experience, I suggest camping during the week. The weekend tend to get a little noisy with the families with kids. I can't wait to plan my next camping adventure at Cherry Hill!!
