Great place. Clean camp sites; bathrooms were clean; showers were great. We will be using this campground yearly for our trip up. There is no cell service at all. If you drive 1 mile in either direction on the hwy; we picked it back up, both AT&T and Verizon.

Really love the grills that rotate over or away from the fire pit!

The campground itself is very nice. Terrific location to get away from it all and do some hiking or play in and around the Chattooga River. Restrooms were reasonably clean. Our site, 11, was pretty nice. But... The fire pit had not been cleaned out in some time and there was trash, including a grate from a grill, left in the pit. We were across the way from the campground hosts and they have three small dogs that enjoy barking.

What a Great little Campground. Quiet, in the woods and the sites are large, shaded and spaced well away from each other. I would highly recommend this campground. The near by park rangers are VERY courteous, helpful and friendly.

There are no hookups so boondockers or day use only. The sites are so much nicer than the state park nearby. Next trip I'm bringing my 35' 5th wheel instead of the popular as there are 8 sites I can easily access. Two trailheads for amazing hiking and forest service roads near for biking. Flushing toilets and hot shower ++++!

Beautifully wooded campground with well-maintained bath house. Never saw the campground host, but looks like they’ve lived there for years. There was no firewood for purchase on site, but the bathrooms were clean and short on tp only once during our stay. Trash was removed regularly. Campsites in the upper (you will hear the road here) and lower loops are the most private, but have a longer walk to the bath house. Lovely little creek for the kids to splash around in. There are no hookups, so if you’re lucky enough to have a large camper or RV in, you’ll have generator noise. There were plenty of sites available during our visit (and our group occupied 6 sites), although some were not really “campable” due to tree removal in progress. Several trails, waterfalls, Oconee State Park, Lake Keowee, Cashiers and Highlands within 30 mins. Highly recommend.

good size site. easy walk to water and the bathhouse. #18 is a good site with only neighbors on one side. was nice to be close to the fish hatchery.

Very well kept, quiet campground with running water and clean, albeit sparse, restrooms. Very close to some nice hiking trails. Site was large and fairly secluded. Make sure you note you won't have any cell service, so plan ahead. I'll probably be back again in the fall for another visit.
