We have stayed here several times. This stayed we hiked both the Winding Stairs and Big Bend trails. Nice hikes. Love the campground because it has limited utilities. Hot and cold water showers /sinks and flush toilets. Never very busy.

Nice campground with one trail from campground. The sites are large and private. There are OK restrooms with showers.

Campground was simple, tidy, quiet the way I like it. Trails are amazing! Beautiful woods and tumbling waters. We saw 3 black bears! (They quickly scampered for cover.) An experience I will remember for a long time.

Pleasant site. Bathhouses are clean. We booked site 3 and it was large, adjacent site 4 is also very large. Private sites, except for 1 and 2. If you are going with people you know I would recommend getting those 2 sites, they are NOT private but they are the only 2 in the area. So would be good for group camping.
Plenty to do around there, with hiking and waterfalls everywhere. We went to licklog and pigpen falls. Its like 15 minute drive, beautiful falls and if you pass the 2nd falls, you will get excellent river access. There is a sign. The water is warm and deep enough to swim.
Dollar general is about 10 minutes away for any needs, and cell service can be found there.
As far as campsite hosts, I have never experienced them so I am not sure what their purpose is. I do know they stared us down as we walked the site, never said hello or even waved. They were strange and chain smoked cigarettes.

I really enjoyed the solitude of Cherry Hill. Also it has great proximity to so many outdoor activities. The Campground Hosts were great also!
