Horse high tie areas need lots of work. Trails need to have rotin trees cut before they fall on some one

Their are about 8 low tie post for the horses.Thesevare very dangerous to tie the horses to.The other sites have the high tie lines for the horses they are great.Please have the low tie replaced with the high ones .Other than that we enjoyed our time there and the host was very helpful

Camp ground clean. However the trash cans were full and they did not pick up! Was there M-Sunday.
Also would like to see the hitching/ties at sites like 14 removed. They are dangerous to horses. They are so low and the metal tie ring can hurt a horse, potentially killing a horse. Very dangerous! They put up signs that you had to tie to rack… not high tie to trees! For sure those who make that decision as well as design of tie rack are not horse people!!!!! Would like to see these low tie racks removed. Poor poor not horse friendly design!!!!

From Walhalla, go north 6 miles on State Highway 28. Turn left onto Whetstone Road. Go straight for about 5 miles. Continue straight at the four-way stop,
for another 1.5 miles. The pavement ends and gravel begins. A sign for Whetstone Horse Camp is about 3/4-mile down the gravel road. The camp is on the left.
Whetstone Horse Camp is accessible via State Highway 28, which is approximately 6 miles south from Walhalla. No interstates or major highways are within 25 miles.
