We had such a wonderful time at River Bottom Family Farm Campground this weekend! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming—my kids couldn’t wait to see them each day. The campground offers so many fun activities for kids rain or shine, including candy bar bingo, crafts, ceramic painting, mad science labs, and even a mining sluice.

This weekend kicked off their No Scare Halloween celebration, and it was a hit with our family! The kids loved dressing up for the costume contest and going trick-or-treating around the campground. It was the perfect blend of fun, safe, and family-friendly.

We can’t wait to come back—thank you River Bottom Family Farm Campground for helping us make such special memories!

Labor Day weekend was my family's second time visiting, and we have nothing but great things to say. The campground is quaint, kid-friendly, safe, clean, and well maintained. I've never seen another campground go through the extra effort to involve the kids like Riverbottom Farms. Connor(sp?) was great with the kids and the staff were efficient and friendly. We were also pleasantly surprised by a Sunday Morning outdoor church service. Always a great experience. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely have to say we are so thankful to them. Our rental truck broke down coming from a camping trip from Myrtle Beach to Chattanooga and I called the campground and they were more than willing to help not know how long we would be there...we stayed for 2 night until I was able to get another truck and get back on the road. They didn't have a problem accommodating us with not knowing when we would be able to leave....PS...It was a enterprise rental and they called the morning after I dropped off they truck and refunded the total cost of the truck which more than covered my campground stay

5 stars on rooms meaning we had a beautiful tent site. We stayed for July 4th weekend and hated to leave! Every person we met was amazing! We both had the best time even just hanging out on the porch of the store visiting with the owners and their family. Even with nearly a hundred campers, it was still the most peaceful quiet nights under the clearest starry sky. Cleanest bathrooms/changing rooms I've ever seen and a perfect, gorgeous pool. We had fun at the game room playing pool too.
There was one incident with another campsite that disregarded policy and it was handled quickly and respectfully.
We have fallen in love with the staff, the campgrounds, and will see them as often as we possibly can!! It's easy to see that this is not just a business, it's a home. Thank you for making us feel welcome!

This is going to be rather long but after getting home and reflecting on our trip, I felt as though this was necessary - especially after seeing completely false reviews. After the things that transpired this weekend, I can tell you that one of the most recent negative ratings is far from the truth. I say this with confidence as my husband, my mother, my 3 children and myself were witnesses to the incident that took place. As a matter of fact, my rather young children were terrified as to how the lady (who finally got kicked out of the park) was acting because they do not generally have to witness that kind of hostility or yelling. I was actually embarrassed for the kids that the lady had with her as I am sure they were embarrassed themselves. I believe what started the incident was the fact that our neighbors (who were camping with their autistic child) was having a very hard time with their sons sensory issues because of how loud they were. After trying to deal with it for as long as they could, and after their son had a complete meltdown to the point of them being unable to calm their child down, they decided to speak with someone in the office.

The lady from the office came to speak with them, as she should because the rules are pretty cut and dry. Well the tent lady became very agitated because they were told to hold it down and started going off like she owned the place and that the rules shouldnt apply to her. I do have to commend the office lady (sorry, I do not remember your name) as she appeared to remain calm, the whole time that the other lady was raging- which had to have been really hard to do. After being asked to leave, we witnessed the lady come back several more times. It was almost to the point that we feared what the lady would do next. I know had it been me, I would've let law enforcement deal with it because the lady clearly was not listening or understanding, nor was she worried about all of the other people she was disturbing or the kid's she was scaring with her behavior.

My family and I camp at River Bottom more than several times a year and we have NEVER had a problem with anyone- especially not the staff (or even any of the other campers). They have all kinds of activities for the kids and are VERY family friendly. I have never seen any of the staff treat anyone in a disrespectful manner.

In general we camp quite regularly at different places all year round and we have NEVER EVER had to keep our kids inside at a campground before (unless it was storming of course). However, we kept our children inside until this lady left - because our children had already witnessed enough hostility and due to how the lady was acting, we had no clue what she was capable of.

I highly recommend River Bottom Farms to ANY family who is looking to find a family oriented atmosphere.

We will definitely be returning. Thank you all for your impeccable hospitality and keeping the grounds nice and tidy for us.
