Overall the campground was very well kept, and our group had such a fun time. Bathrooms were okay, with great water pressure compared to other places we've camped. Some sites have better stairs or walk paths down to the water but the site we were in could have been better. Otherwise, the water was still easily accessible. Campsites were spacious for RV or tent camping. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The sites are level and are well kept by the staff. Most sites are directly on the lake and have beautiful views. Bathrooms are clean and well kept but could use some updating.

We always enjoy staying at Coneross. Site 34 is large with trees all around. We would love to stay for a week on site 33 which is full hookup, but the sewer pipe is too high for our camper.

Beautiful Park!!
On the shores of Hartwell Lake this ACE campground is gorgeous. Lots of great sites to choose from. The one we ended up in(104) was a “pull-through”. It isn’t really a pull through. We are in a 37 foot 5th wheel. The entry is fine, the exit is pretty difficult. There are two trees that make it a pretty tight turn up a narrow gravel/dirt path. We ended up backing out of it. Took it slow and it went fine.
The only downside is that they shut and lock the gate at 10pm every night. You can’t get in or out unless it’s an emergency. And even then, there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to get hold of an actual person. All the other campgrounds that we have stayed at(ACE and State Parks) have provided a way to enter and exit after hours. Normally with either a keypad entry or combination lock of some kind.

One of our favorite campgrounds - at least in the top three that are very close to our home.
