This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds in the southeast. It was truly a pleasure to be able to spend a few days at Coneross.

Great park, I know most state and federal parks don’t have sewer hook ups but it sure would be nice, with that aside love this campground.

The only recommendation that I have is don’t upset the people at the gatehouse because they are not always friendly and helpful. They want to show their authority. They act as if they own the place.

The large, wooded sites at Coneross are definitely a plus. More privacy than your average commercial campground. Views of the lake are beautiful. The sites could use some surface work. It is pretty rocky and not smooth. The bathrooms were clean but very outdated. Some of the shower heads sprayed the water so hard it felt like pins and needles. We love Coneross because of the easy access to the lake and the beautiful sunrises and sun sets.
