We were at site 4, a nice cove location. Shallow water, easy to fish from, seen a gar fish cruise through, clear water. Site was clean. The boat ramp was great, I was 3 of 4 boats coming and going, plenty of space to maneuver and patience taking turns.
The Bad :( Vomit mess was in the ladies handicap stall restroom at 7 AM of our visit. Not the parks fault for the mess, wish people would clean up after themselves, maybe they couldn't, add benefit to the doubt.

I would have given 5 stars but we were expecting a grill but made do with the campfire ring. Fishing from the bank was excellent and the area we were in was quiet.

There needs to be someone to monitor the pets. The people beside us “did not” have their dog on a leash the entire time they were there. When someone would come by, the dog would constantly bark. Other than that it was a great time.

The park was lovely and our site could not have been more perfect. It was our first visit. We arrived a little early (prior to check in) and the gate attendant was a tad rude. He did not offer us any options other than very curtly telling us we had to leave and did not give us places we could go until our site was ready. We understand check in/out times, but he made it very unpleasant. We asked if we could go in and park at the water access ramp, as we had a boat, and could have road in it until time to set up camp, but he refused us entry. Other than that, everyone else was very nice. We especially commend the staff who clean the sites and prepare them for the next guests. We saw several sites that were left in a mess and the staff never complained. We love Corp parks and this one is one of the best.
