Coneross Park is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites with ample space and stunning lake views, providing a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the clean facilities, despite some noting that the bathrooms need updating. While the low water levels and some maintenance issues were mentioned, overall, guests express a strong desire to return and continue making memories at the campground.

We have been visiting Coneross campground for about 20 years now. We love the space between the camp sites and the facilities are clean

Coneross has nice large level lots for camping. The park is not far from the towns of Seneca and Clemson. Hartwell lake is the main draw.

We had a wonderful stay with a great site over looking the lake where we had easy access to launch our kayaks from our site. We arrived on Sunday a bit before check in time, but the site was open and we were allowed immediate access. After we arrived most of the campground cleared out as usual for a Sunday afternoon. After that we had the place mostly to ourselves for a nice relaxing time. The only problem was Hurricane Sally popped up in the Gulf and headed our way so rather than spend two days in a tin box with expected 8" of rain, we bugged out a day early and headed back home. We will be back in the future. There are few sites that would disappoint you.

Coneross is one of our favorite places to camp. The park is well-maintained and sites are generally large and level.

Campsite was nice and fairly easy to back a camper in. Someone before us had a problem that left a very strong smell of hot auto motive greasy oil on site. There is a big spot on site where they left a big spot. Other than that it was a nice area.
