This campground is kept in excellent shape. The hosts are very friendly and often seen picking up anything that was discarded. The fish cleaning stations are fantastic and very well-lighted for night fisherman. If there is anything negative to post , it is the lack of sewer and water at the sites. Two week stays often require to travel to the dump station at some point.
Overall, this is a great place to camp and highly recommended!

When we arrived, our credentials were checked and we were directed to our spot. The camp attendants made rounds several times quietly checking on things, which we find reassuring. The campground was generally quiet and the shower facility was clean and centrally located.

Love camping at left trailrace campground. Nice quite campground, 4 wheelers or golf carts racing around or causing potential safety concerns for kids riding bikes, etc. The campground hosts have been around for years. Very friendly, always greeting you with a smile.

Nice campground. Clean, big sites, sun/wind leantos at most sites. On an island so lots of river views.

This area did have friendly host and they were actually at gate house and seen in the park area often. The park is big rig friendly in some sites. Some of the turns are very sharp. we had an end site at one of the sharp turns. I was scared my truck would get hit as I parked as far out of the way as possible but some drivers would cut the corner driving by to close for my comfort. Alot of boaters that parked everywhere. They did not enforce the two wheel on pad that they posted. Nice but too busy for us retired folks.
