Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

Great location and good views. I was surprised that there were showers but you need quarters.

Cedar Pass was… interesting. Yes, there were bathrooms, drinking water, and sun/wind blocks, but it was very unusual to just pull off the side of the campground loop and parallel park to camp for the night. You camp right on top of your neighbors. No privacy whatsoever, which is perfectly fine if you don’t mind the discomfort of being stared at all night and morning by your neighbors. Facilities were ok. Clean enough. Sunset was pretty!

This campground is one of the best in the Nation. AMAZING views, clean shower facilities, a camp sink for tent campers, and sites with grass and beautiful views. The campground is located at a perfect location - at the end of the scenic drive but also close to the visitor's center and also a number of family-friendly hikes. Perfect! We will be back.

Tent site was close to neighbor, could hear them snoring. Was windy but it had a cover/windbreak over the picnic table which helped some. Men's shower was nice and hot, but my wife and daughters said the women's shower was ice cold. Hot water at the dishwashing station was a nice surprise.

Cedar Pass Campground is ideally located within the Badlands NP adjacent to the visitors center. All destinations in the park are easily accessible from this location and you can actually venture out of the park very quickly to visit other areas if desired.
