Bathrooms not as clean as they could be. Recycling opportunities were inadequate

May be difficult to get into your site if you are the middle person in a pull off. Great location. Close to trails and drive loops in the Badlands.

Campground was fine. Very open and can get windy. Showers were just fine. Min of .50 but for $1 you can get an 8 min shower. Cheaper than most pay places.

Space said it would be enough for our fifth wheel but it was very tight We need to be in line to unhook and rehook and that was difficult with the angle of the site. Luckily the campers in front of us only had a tent so we made it work.

Wonderful view of the Badlands from the campground! The campground itself is very open and spots are directly on the road, so no space to set up an awning or chairs. The campground was very easy to find, but it was difficult to determine how to get to the dumping and water station (but they are there if you need them). We eventually figured it out after finding a small sign. There is a visitors center and lodge with a restaurant vey close to the campground. I recommend going into the visitor center to chat with a ranger. As always, the park rangers were very helpful in giving us suggestions on the best way to see the park 😊

Excellent campsite. Good accomodations, easy setup. Site was very windy when I was there, so being extra tent stakes

The Badlands were beautiful. The campground could use some sprucing up. The showers cost a minimum of 75 cents and the one that I took was ice cold. Our picnic table was missing part of the seat and we ran our legs into it a few times which was somewhat painful.

The campground is in a beautiful area with easy access to major attractions. The arrangement of camp sites is weird. The sites require parallel parking so the door to your RV may open into the road. One loop has showers, however the showers I took were cold. I had no hot water. My husband had hot water for his shower. Expect wind and very limited shade which are reasons it’s called the Badlands!
