Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

Nice campground with amazing views of the Badlands. Bathrooms were clean, and some sights had electricity. Stars at night were also amazing. Right inside the park which makes it super convenient. Would definitely return.

It is so nice being able to stay inside the national park with a big rig. The campground is convenient with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed walking to the lodge and shop near by.

The weather detracted from the experience. I was unable to assess the campground and other attributes.

The campground is quite small for the number of sites. Our site on the periphery was certainly more private than the sites in the center of the campground. The campground appears to need updating. Bathrooms were looking old and tired. The showers were available for a cost- I am amazed that the showers were not free to campers. The outdoor washing station was good, and did include hot water.

Nice views, can get windy, sites are open and close together. Easy access to visitor, Cedar Pass Lodge and the Visitor Center.

The Badlands are always stunning. I recommend hiking a trail. The Cliff Shelf Trail is short, but always seems to have a lot of wildlife (birds, deer). The Castle trail is good for something longer. Bring water when you hike. The weather can be extreme (very hot or very windy/stormy). I was disappointed in the condition of the bathrooms in the campground.
