The campground has cool views of the badlands, is close to the visitor center, and has a store to buy essentials if needed. We enjoyed the night time ranger talks.

Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

We stayed in site # 10 (Agate) and # 81 (Butte) for one night each. It is a nice campground with good restroom and shower facilities. The sites are close together with limited privacy, as is to be expected based on the Badlands terrain. But it worked well for us in our Class B van. There is a picnic table on each site with a wooden screen to give shade from the sun. We enjoyed our time there! Verizon signal was reasonable at our sites. The campsite is very close to the visitor center (which has excellent fossil and geology exhibits) and you can walk or bike to some of the closer scenic overlooks.

Nice location within the Badlands. The campground facilities were adequate, but not great. The national parks appear to need money, as staffing overall appeared needing.

Beautiful location with clean, nice bathrooms and showers. No privacy here, but everyone was respectful of each other. Can get very windy and storms can be strong. The sky at night is incredible.

We enjoyed the view from the Cedar Pass campground. It is conveniently located near the visitor's center as well as the lodge and most of the hiking trails in the park. We attended ranger programs nearby in the evening. The bathrooms were pretty clean and conveniently located. The beautiful badlands wall overlooked the campground. Overall, it was a great experience.
