Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

Nice site for our Ford transit van. Site is close to restrooms with a picnic table at site. Perfect location to camp then go on short hikes (Recommend the cliff shelf, Door and Window trails). Beautiful views.

I came out hoping to get my very first photo of the milkyway in the Badlands. This has been a photo that I have been wanting to capture for several years and I was finally able to make it happen. The sky just exploded with stars. I can't wait to come ba k and try again with a different foreground.

Very friendly park host. Camp spaces easy to access. Lots of last-minute sites available. We advise making reservations in advance to secure level sites, and those with power. Sites are clean, accessible, and enough space to have privacy between guests. We loved the picnic tables, and dark night sky for unobstructed star gazing. The showers were antiquated and should be updated. Bring your own potable water or filter the available potable water! Overall, a wonderful first night camping in a national park experience for us.
