Have a stricter policy on generator use. Ensure that it is enforced, especially when there are vehicles at a non electrical site.

Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

The winds were whipping and the rain was falling but we still got our tent up and had a fantastic night at Cedar. We were graced with a double rainbow by the time we had everything put together. Nice facilities.

The stars at night and the programs that the Park Rangers were putting on were absolutely incredible. The hikes were well mapped out. Amazing time at the campsite too. Everything is very close and, with minimal lighting, we could see the stars right from our tent.

Love these campsites. The views are awesome and having electricity is great on the hot, hot afternoons. I think we've never been here without a lot of nighttime wind and storms though!

Great location right in the heart of the Badlands and just down the street from the Visitors Center. Easy access to hikes, drives, etc. Amenities were fine. It's a baren landscape, so don't expect trees, shade, etc. Really did not use the bathhouse, etc. so can't opine to the quality or cleanliness. Overall- you want to be in the Badlands and wake up and go to bed each night looking at that vista then there won't be a better place!
