Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

The campsite location is great, can't beat the view, but the site is very compact and difficult to navigate with a larger RV. I say this as someone with a larger 5th wheel, but the site should probably be restricted to smaller RV's without slides.

Campground is very open as most of the area is. Covered picnic tables at each site were great to have. Sites are not well separated and parking pads are indistinguishable from the road (just along the outside edge). Water and dump station access is through another part of the campground, but they are there and easy enough to get to. Evening ranger program was informative, even for adults. Mosquitos were impressive, driving us inside to eat dinner even with a strong wind.

We had a nice three-night stay and were overall satisfied with the campground. Our site had electric, the restrooms were clean, and the grounds were well kept. The only real downside was a nearby camper running a generator most of the day, which was pretty disruptive and took away from the peaceful campground experience. I guess this is okay any time of day. Just not overnight. I also would have preferred to have water at the site, although water was available. Overall, a clean and well-maintained campground, but the generator noise was a drawback during our stay.

It was nice being able to stay in the park but basically it’s a wide road that you park on the side of with you door opening to the road so you can’t really use your awning or that side of your RV if your parked on the left side. Also the bath houses we not the cleanest .

The sites were very close together but at least the table was shaded from the intense afternoon sun. There was no way to control the shower water temperature and there was no bench or easy way to keep clothes dry in the stall. And no toilet in the shower house. People right next to us arrived well after quiet hours (midnight) and talked loudly while setting up camp. Everyone else was quiet.

Location location location. Clean restrooms. We didn’t have hookups but got nice and cool at night I like the little C shaped pull through Nice for our smaller travel trailer

The sites are tight just on the roadside. The views are beautiful and the ranger programs were fantastic. Good location for hikes.

Beautiful site. We did have two people sneak into the space between our site and the one next to us. No one ever came around to remove them. Bathroom showers should have locked doors, not shower curtains, for safety
