Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

Wonderful location! Very little shade but there is some over the picnic tables. Sunset is gorgeous!

Honestly it’s been a month and I can’t stop thinking about this campsite. I have a video of it on my TikTok @angie.whitt

The location is great! It was a bit tight getting our 44' motorhome with jeep in tow around. Due to the layout of the sites, we were not able to let out one of our slides. All in all, to conveniently visit the Badlands NP again, we would stay here.

Camp spots are parallel to the road with people constantly driving thru. Tons of bugs also.

It's called the Badlands for a reason! Site great but do not, I repeat, do not, set up any awnings - free standing or on your RV. We have a Thor Sprinter Van and put our awning out and wind went from 0 to 60 mi an hour in minutes! Took both legs with it.
Having shore power was great and bathrooms were very clean and neat.

The campground was busy but relatively quiet. As the sun was setting the bugs did start to come out. The campground was convenient to areas of interest. We brought binoculars soon the scenic drive we were able to watch a small herd of antelope from a distance with 3 coyotes following them!

The campground is the only option inside the park. Good if you are in an RV, but wish there were a separate section just for those with tents. Very confusing finding your way around the two loop roads on foot after dark. The rest rooms were not conveniently located. The showers are coin operated. Appreciate the shaded picnic tables, but parking on the side of the access roads can get very cramped. Wish there were a pull in option at the campsites.
