Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

A unique camping experience. We especially enjoyed the ranger nature talk and dark sky presentation.

Very barren campground, but fantastic location - truly stunning scenery all around, and fabulous sunrises and sunsets. Nice and quiet, and dark-sky compliant (unbelievable star gazing at night!). Scenic drive through the Badlands right at your doorstep. Bathrooms were fine, basic and clean. Shower house was separate and cost extra.

We were dry camping at Cedar Pass so no electricity or water. Appreciated the free showers but the water from the shower heads was so strong that it hurt certain sensitive parts!

Very calm and laid back campground. Lots of room for pulling in and out. It has a lot of space for the picnic table set ups. The showers are simple use with quarters and are open all night thankfully! The restrooms were clean.
I loved the friendly staff at the lodge as well! Good food and coffee! Made our trip to the badlands very easy and fun staying at this campground!

Great little campsite! Right next to water spigot and not a bad walk from the bathroom. Beautiful view of the scenery.

This is a very unusual campground in that it feels like we are all camping on the street (except for the tenters). You have to accept it and appreciate the stunning beauty of the Badlands! The Ranger programs were outstanding, and the dark night sky was incredible. Restrooms were okay, and showers were appreciated.
