Very accessible; clean and easy to set up at. A couple neat presentations by the rangers!

Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

Only negative was that the water had already been turned off for the season…. kind of early for that.

Compact campground nestled nicely into the park; easy access to everything. The restrooms were clean and the (unique!) coin operated showers worked just fine.

Nice campsite. A bit narrow for my 30 ft Class C when my neighbor also has a full size rig.
Some of the sites has a bit more room…

All sites in this campground are pull over from the road into the "area" for your site. Although this could have been laid out better this was such an awe inspiring place! So worth it to be inside of the park for the views. It was very windy one night and shook the camper but other than that it was great for two days. Electrical was an easy hook up. Flush toilets just a site over and shower house could have used a good cleaning but was cheap at $1.25 for 10 minutes. Dump station was easy and clean. Oh! And people were so respectful! The sunsets were beautiful and all travel trailers made sure to turn off their outdoor lights to not disturb the view.
