Cottonwood Campground is consistently praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere. Recent upgrades, such as concrete pads and improved facilities, have enhanced the camping experience, along with the quiet surroundings and ample shade. While some visitors noted minor concerns like the lack of full hookups and the need for trimming trees, overall, campers enjoyed their stays and appreciated the well-kept amenities and peaceful environment.

We had a very nice stay. We loved the spot we were in and will definitely try to get that spot again when we go to Cottonwood.

This was a clean, beautiful campground.
I rolled in when it was almost dark and knew that I was going to leave pretty soon in the morning, so I did not get to explore a lot. The camp host was super helpful and let me switch to a pull through spot. The bathrooms and showers were very clean.
It is close to a town with convenient grocery stores and other facilities

Beautiful campground with the large cottonwood trees, with the leaves rustling in the breeze off the lake. During the week it's quiet but the weekends bring out the families with kids. So, a lot of activity then.

Clean showers and bathrooms. Good access. Quiet. Below the dam so it was out of the wind.

Very nice park, well laid out. Stayed in spot #38. Restrooms were very clean. This is a electric only park. Water fill station and dump station are located at the entrance to the park. Great bike/hiking trails around this campground as well as the state campground above the dam
