Cottonwood Campground is consistently praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere. Recent upgrades, such as concrete pads and improved facilities, have enhanced the camping experience, along with the quiet surroundings and ample shade. While some visitors noted minor concerns like the lack of full hookups and the need for trimming trees, overall, campers enjoyed their stays and appreciated the well-kept amenities and peaceful environment.

Restrooms were very clean and cleaned two times daily. Area was mowed and after a storm with 89 mi per hour winds, the tree branches and limbs were collected the next morning. Prior to the storm, the park ranger and the campground host came around and warned us of the impending storms arrival and suggested that we use the bath house for security.
