I love this campground and this site is nice, fairly level, and has lots of shade. The camp hosts are super nice.

Cottonwood Campground is consistently praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere. Recent upgrades, such as concrete pads and improved facilities, have enhanced the camping experience, along with the quiet surroundings and ample shade. While some visitors noted minor concerns like the lack of full hookups and the need for trimming trees, overall, campers enjoyed their stays and appreciated the well-kept amenities and peaceful environment.

Nice quiet campground. Campground hosts are some great people. I also met some great people from the area and from states a long way away. If you like fishing there are some great places close by to do so.

the campgrounds are beautifully kept; the bathrooms are the cleanest I have seen at a campground in a very long time.
The staff we have met at the site has been very friendly and helpful. the location is perfect, close enough to town to run errands but hid in the cottonwoods to feel like we are in the country. Cottonwood campground has become our go to camping place.

Only stayed one night passing through area but would definitely stay again if we lived closer. Beautiful well maintained grounds, plenty of electric sites. Bathrooms clean with showers.

This is a good campground. The camp hosts are great. The staff that keeps the bathrooms clean are excellent. You won't find a cleaner bathroom and showers anywhere. We had a site right on Lake Yankton and it was so pretty.

Beth, our camp host was extremely helpful with the information on the campsite. The bathrooms were super clean. So glad we didn't have to use coins for the showers. Cottonwood brought back memories camping with family & friends. We are so glad to be back!
