This is one of our favorite campgrounds to visit. We go every year. Extremely clean and well kept shower houses.

Cottonwood Campground is consistently praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere. Recent upgrades, such as concrete pads and improved facilities, have enhanced the camping experience, along with the quiet surroundings and ample shade. While some visitors noted minor concerns like the lack of full hookups and the need for trimming trees, overall, campers enjoyed their stays and appreciated the well-kept amenities and peaceful environment.

Great location. Our site (57P) was level, pull through and next to the water. We will be back to kayak and bike when the weather is better

Cottonwood is a nice federal camping area. Disc golf next door and a beautiful biking and walking trail around the lake. Of course the fishing is good depending on the season. You will enjoy camping here. The bathrooms were clean and the grounds were kept up nicely. If you have a long rig 35 to 40 ft be sure to check the length of the campsite. Some are short and a few are a little tight to get into. Most sites are very good. Only downside was we had two fishing rigs stolen that were left under our camper on our first night. So sad to say leave things out at your own risk.
