Very nice campgrounds. The restrooms are air conditioned. I like the fact that there is a launch ramp for boats. The one thing I wish is that they would sell ice there.

Our favorite campground we have ever stayed at! We were in the island and could not have asked for a more beautiful campsite with water access and beautiful sunset views. I can’t wait to go back.

Lillydale is a great place to camp with friends, and family. A safe place for families with children. Water was low this year but still useable for water activities. This was our seventh year camping, and we look forward to many more. I would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love going to Lillydale campground. They have free washer and dryer. However, I would suggest you stay with it if you use it because I went to my campsite came back and all my clothes was on the bench and someone else had started their clothes in the washer. How embarrassing, all my goods were right there for all to see! It is clean, peaceful, and beautiful. If you’re looking for a place to escape this is my favorite one. It’s even better if you have a boat, you can explore the lake!

We enjoyed our stay at Lillydale.
Our site was spacious and a great view of the lake. We didn’t have a boat. We can see why boaters come here to camp.
Restrooms clean but dated.

Love this campground. The hosts Bob & Kim are great people and enjoy talking with them. They are very helpful and seem to go out of their way to make sure everything is good. Also the volunteer Robert was very nice and seemed to always be ready to really help people out in any way. One thing that would be nice is if the water hose at the Dump Station had a good end on it where we could connect it to the fresh water dump valve on our RV. We wouldn't have to get our own hose out to do this task.

We love camping at Lillydale however, the bathroom facilities are in much need of being updated.
Otherwise, no complaints.

I've been camping here all of my life. The campground is clean. The hosts were great. Repairs in the bathhouses, especially near the tent loop, need to be done.

It is recommended that visitors do not rely soley on GPS or Mapquest to reach the park.
Policies & Rules
General
- We look forward to your visit. Please ensure your camping party and visiting guests either receive a copy of the confirmation or are advised of our policies.
- Firewood Policy – Campers may only burn certified heat treated firewood, commercial fire logs, kiln-dried, unpainted, unstained lumber that is free of any metal or foreign substance, or dead and downed branches in the area adjacent to the campsite. View the Nashville District Firewood Policy STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails; follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats, and any other recreational equipment that contacts water. For more information visit https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/rec.
- Title 36 Rules and Regulations are enforced at Dale Hollow Lake. For more information visit US Army Corps of Engineers Rules and Regulations for Water Resources Projects.
- Alcohol is not permitted.
- Only licensed vehicles are permitted. Each campsite is provided for two pre-paid vehicle entry. Additional vehicles, or visitors to campers are charged a fee per vehicle per day.
- All equipment and vehicles must be located on the designated site pad. Camping is limited to a 14-day stay within a 30-consecutive day period.
- Gates are closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Plan your arrival accordingly. Register at the campground office prior to occupying your site. When arriving during office closed hours, follow the instructions posted in the window. Return the next day to register and check-in. Late arrivals should call the park at 931-823-4155.
- Holders of the American the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass must present the discount pass and one form of photo identification upon arrival. If the proper documentation is not provided, the full recreation use fee must be paid to use the facility. If a customer makes more than one reservation for the same location and date(s), the discount will only apply to the site the pass owner occupies. The pass owner must be present the duration of the camping stay in order for the full discount to be applied.
- Domestic pets (dogs/cats only) are permitted and must be leashed, controlled and attended at all times with proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by the pet.
- Day Use Area: a $5 vehicle fee per day is charged for the day-use area; $2 per walk-in. Credit card payments only at the automated pay station.
