Our spot was nice, wide enough for my car and boat trailer along side the motorhome. It had shade and was next to the water so we could tie the boat up at our spot. The reason I didn’t give it a 5 is the campsites are too close together you can hear people talking on their phones.

Well run! We camp at a lot of COE campgrounds, and this is one of the best! Difficult to get to, but worth it! Lovely campground, and well tended. Make sure you have everything packed before you go. It is a long way to any town! Nice restaurant right off property if you want it. Just love this place.

Our site was the best campsite (52) we ever had. We had direct access to the water and had a front row seat of the sunset each night, which was absolutely beautiful!

It’s beautiful. The camp host are caring & helpful. Quiet hours are observed. The bathrooms & showers are clean & well-maintained with excellent water pressure.
The grounds are very well-maintained & patrolled by staff & even a deputy. It’s very safe feeling.
There really isn’t anything other than small stores & restaurants closer than an hour away so make sure that you stock up on what you need. The little restaurant a mile from the campground sells meat by the pound & serves an excellent breakfast.
We did find ticks in some of the grassy areas but it’s the outdoors so no big shock. There were so many fireflies!
The lots were spacious. We didn’t have one of the hooks to hang garbage like other lots but the dumpsters are easily accessible.
It’s wonderful there & I cannot wait to go back again.

This was the first trip me and my Girl have ever gone on alone. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and kind. We camped on the island, and had an amazing time. Water was clear, nights were clear, 100% will be returning.
