The bath house on the lower loop has been closed for 2 years. This was complety inconvient for our party. Is there a completion date in the near future. Please advise.

The staff was awesome. There is a lot to do in the area exploring waterfalls and the caves in the state park plus the different marinas for food.

This is a very nice campground that is right on the lake. Some of the restrooms/ bathhouses have AC some don’t. The only negative is the lack of a wi fi signal. There is no wi fi and cell phone service is spotty at best . When crowded , it’s impossible to connect to the internet.

Loved the camp ground, lots of green space, plenty of room around each site, was not overcrowded

1.There were several people at different sites with open cans of beer.
2. There were 4 dogs at different sites off leash. One loose dog tried to attack my leashed dog as we walked by on the road. The owner just stared at us. The owner’s friend rode up on a bike and put himself between us and the dog so we could get away.” Mary”, he said,”Your dog is mean.”
3. The next site to us had 6 cars and at least 10 people for the last 2days we were there. And a loose dog.
4. The walking trail was impassable because a huge fallen tree was blocking it.
