Camp host was fantastic! Clean, quiet facilities. Right on the river and close drive to Ocoee Lake with some hiking trails nearby. Short drive up the mountain for more hiking and Benton Falls.

I can't wait to come back here! My kids loved the creek right beside our site. The cell reception was really spotty but that made the get away even better! We went hiking to Benton falls that was close and it was wonderful. I love that they had easy routes and more advanced routes to take. The bathrooms, also, were kept very clean and well maintained.

We always enjoy our stays here. A very quaint and peaceful campground. Only 16 sites. Bathrooms very clean thanks to Fred and Barbara the hosts. I understand that it’s located in a national forest but it needs some weedeating or some round up done in the campground. It’s getting overgrown. But all in all one of our favorites.

Getting There
From Highway 64/411 intersection, travel Hwy. 64 east approximately 9.5 mi, turn onto Highway 30 for 0.3 mi. RV sites are located on the left, group tent camping on the right.
Highway access
Parksville Lake RV Campground is accessible via Highway 64, which is approximately 9.5 miles from the Highway 64/411 intersection. Additionally, Highway 30 provides access for the final 0.25 mile to the campground.
Policies & Rules
General
- Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings only.
- Do not leave fires unattended. They will be extinguished.
- Discharging firearms and fireworks is prohibited.
- Pets must be on a leash.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Campground hosts are on site.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
- Be Bear Wise: Never leave food out on tables or in the open. Store unattended food in bear-resistant containers, in a vehicle in solid non-pliable material, or suspend food at least ten feet off the ground. Remember to use the bear resistant trash receptacles provided at this facility.
