We always enjoy our stays here. A very quaint and peaceful campground. Only 16 sites. Bathrooms very clean thanks to Fred and Barbara the hosts. I understand that it’s located in a national forest but it needs some weedeating or some round up done in the campground. It’s getting overgrown. But all in all one of our favorites.

Perfect campground for our 3 day stay included electricity and a bath house.
Clean and well kept. We enjoyed being on the RV side but having access through the tent side to the lake.

I cannot say enough good things about this campground and the hosts! I love camping at Parksville State Park and fishing in the lake. I always feel safe camping here alone, and the hosts and other campers are so nice! Bob Smith was our host this summer on the RV side of the park and he helped me monitor the severe storms as they moved through since I didn't have internet service at the camp. On the tent camping side of the road Kaycee Cook was just as wonderful. I came without reservations and had to move every few days, but I was able to find a spot and stay for two weeks and fish every day. It was heaven! I'm already looking at my calendar and trying to figure out when I can go back!

Great, small campground reasonably close to several things we enjoy. Ocoee Lake and river; great farm markets in Englewood and Blue Ridge and of course river rafting. Campground hosts are excellent!!

Parksville is our favorite place to camp. It’s always quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. The small loop is the perfect place for kids to ride bikes and the creek is wonderful for kids (and adults) to play in.
The hosts, Mike and Sandy, were so friendly and helpful. Our campsite was clean and raked when we arrived. They answered any questions that we had and we loved visiting with their puppy. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen at any campground! They are definitely indispensable hosts.
On the other hand, the host from the tent side was very rude to us. We drove over to fish and put kayaks in the water and she came down and assumed we were ignoring the ‘no day use’ signs. She didn’t ask us any questions before she rudely insinuated that we couldn’t read the signs. When I told her we were camping on the RV side she changed her tune quickly, but that didn’t negate her earlier disrespect.
That interaction aside, our camping trip was lovely! We highly recommend Parksville campground to everyone.

Great spot, quiet shady creekside. The RV part is across the road from the lake, but still an easy walk to access. Five minutes from the Middle Ocoee takeout.
