Nothing negative. Just an overnight stay on the way to the Smoky Mountains. I would like to come back and try the mountain biking. I was not aware that was available here. Nice bathrooms. Beautiful area. Nice host.

We love Thunder Rock campground. There is so much to do there like, swim in blue hole, mountain bike, white water raft, paddle board, float the river and hike. It’s quiet and peaceful and we love our camp hosts, Barbara and Fred. They were friendly and exceptional camp hosts in every way.

The new Host are awesome. Been camping here for 30 years. We love this camp. We would like to see a ranger pass through at quite time to enforce the rules.

Fire pit at site 22 was weird and way too tall to enjoy the fire. Besides that , and the traffic noise it was awesome! Very beautiful spot with direct access to a cool little hiking train with a river beach

We loved it. Peaceful and clean. Road noise wasnt too bad. The traffic on the river was fun to see. We'll be back.

The host was very friendly and helpful, the campground and bathrooms were also kept very clean. There are many hiking, biking, and off roading trails nearby.

From the Ocoee Ranger Station, turn left onto Highway 64 eastbound and travel 10.9 miles to the TVA Ocoee Powerhouse Number 3. Turn right and cross the bridge to reach the campground on the right.
Thunder Rock Campground is accessed via Highway 64, which connects to other major roads in the region.

Policies & Rules
General
- RV's, trailers, and pop-ups greater than 20 feet in legth are NOT allowed at this faciltiy because of maneuverability restrictions. Only site 9 has electricity.
- Campfires are permitted in grills only
- Do not leave fires unattended, they will be extinguished
- Pets must be on a leash
- Discharging firearms and fireworks is prohibited
- No swimming allowed
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit www.dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
- Be Bear Wise: Never leave food out on tables or in the open. Store unattended food in bear-resistant containers, in a vehicle in solid non-pliable material, or suspend food at least ten feet off the ground. Remember to use the bear resistant trash receptacles provided at this facility.
