Jacobs Creek Campground is situated along the shores of beautiful South Holston Lake in Sullivan County, Tennessee, at an elevation of 1.7 ft. With a view of miles of undeveloped shoreline and the water, the campsites at Jacobs Creek Campground are a relaxing way to spend your vacation. There are 27 available campsites, 23 of which are reservable, including warm showers in the campground. Campground hosts are available on site to answer your questions. There is a Day-Use area adjacent to the Campground with a designated beach area.

My family and I love Jacobs Creek campground. There are amazing views of the lake from multiple campsites. Book early though, those tend to be booked first and for long periods of the summer months. The staff are always courteous and helpful and the campground is well maintained and orderly. I highly recommend a visit and we will be returning as often as possible.

Hosts were attentive, friendly, and were sorting out issues before they became a real problem. Bathhouse was clean and had great water pressure. Trash was changed daily. Nice tent pads, and big sites.

Our site, 11 B was beautiful. The camp ground is well maintained and on South Holston lake... which is absolutely gorgeous. It is very family friendly and the showers are great! Lots of water pressure and warm! We very much enjoyed our stay. The people who manage the grounds were very kind and accommodating. We will definitely stay again!

From Bristol, take US 421 South for 12 mi, and turn left onto paved Denton Valley Rd. After 1.5 mi, turn left onto Jacobs Creek Rd. Continue 0.5 mi and you will be at Jacobs Creek Campground.

Policies & Rules

Cancellation policy

Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
