My husband and I camped there for just a couple nights and we loved it! The owners are super friendly and the campground is very well maintained. They don't have things for the kids to do, but for adults looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is the place! There is a creek flowing by as well. We will definitely be back! Everyone we met was very friendly.

I just got back from this old mill music RV park and it’s a wonderful place. I’ve been there twice in the last year in a half. It’s very clean. It’s a great place to visit. They have a nice bathhouse. It’s a great location all right about 15 minutes from the town a great place to eat nearby the Town Damascus. camping there is great . There are hook ups. It can get busy so book early. It’s only open five months out of the year. So if you wanna get away for the weekend, check it out it’s about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from Concord area, which is where I live .,If you live in Hickory or Boone, you’re closer. Great place to get away to go hiking or if you have a bike to go riding in the trails we were on the motorcycle go on different trails. There’s a lot there to go see .We went to do for mountains like a White Top mountain and I went to Rogers Mountain , Highlands on the other side of this mountain to go see the ponies. A lot of people like to hike up here or you can drive or ride a motorcycle, which is pretty tough because there’s a lot of rocks but beautiful once you get up there just to relax .,You you can hike up there and spend the night if you camp.
some people go horseback riding . We had a motorcycle so we went riding they have lots of trails .,If you’re very good with the motorcycle. If want to relax and just chill build a fire at the camp and cookout if you’re good with that on the grill.. I think Jerry is the name of the guy who owns the place and he’s wonderful very friendly. He comes by and talk to people. sometimes it may have a band they book on certain days and cook out. There are some regulars that come there . I just have a very good things to say about it. They pick up your trash every day and there’s a creek that runs by. I’ll have a picture of that. I’ll show you.

We absolutely loved this RV park on the river! They have just 20 sites, and we were at #14 which was perfectly level and creekside! The host was so welcoming and checked on us often and even picked something up for us at the hardware store. He went above and beyond! The bath house was sparkling clean and laundry was so nice to have. We loved hiking just 10 minutes away. The Wicked Chicken restaurant is a must if you like wings! And the Damascus brewery was delicious too and has dart boards. Super quiet and dog friendly too!

Our first time camping here and definitely won't be our last. The campground is amazing and the host Mike and Lisa are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Very excited to attend the tribute band concert tomorrow night benefiting the flood victims of Johnson County.
20 full hookup sites which sites 7-14 are nightly rentals located along the creek.

I can't believe there are open spots here!

Beautiful newer campground located minutes from VA and NC. The scenery around the campground breathtaking. The park is backed up to a mountain creek that used to power an old mill which is still on the property and is maintained by the owner.

The campground is very nicely laid out with plenty of space for big rigs to maneuver and park. Full Hook-ups at every site with all new equipment.

The central bath house has separate bathrooms, showers and laundry, again all new.

The owners care for and live on the property. The hospitality here is top notch, the owner makes rounds to meet newcomers and make sure everything is up to par.

I will be back here again in the fall.
