Beartree is a well-maintained, quiet campground with nice privacy and clean facilities, offering a wonderful camping experience. Many sites are fantastic, although some require significant leveling, and the infrastructure could use upgrades. Overall, it provides a beautiful, woodsy atmosphere ideal for a relaxing retreat.

REMOTE. Bring everything you need. Sites are fantastic in many cases (level, easy to back in. My site was on a slope, significant leveling required. Many first come/serve sites. Not heavily used, even on weekend. Great evening programs by volunteers. No hookups. Water readily available, but not for filling tanks (ridiculous). Dump station pathetic, just like Stony Fork. High pressure shower jets painful in shower houses. My young grandson was scared of them because they hurt against his body. Nice campground and woodsy, quiet adventure. Infrastructure upgrades needed.

I love the semi-secluded camp sites and the beautiful woods. My favorite campground ever.

I would recommend this campground for multiple reasons. We stayed 3 nights and we had a tent site. The site was large enough for our 3 cars and 2 tents. The fire pit and table were spacious also. The site itself was spacious, trees divided the sites well for general privacy. I really liked that the sites weren't close to the road and instead were set back into the site. The store/restaurant was about 15-20mins and had wi-fi. There was only a handful of other campers so it was pretty quiet. It is a nice drive to get to the section we stayed in-felt like we were really 'getting away'. The showers/bathrooms were pretty clean but getting abit older. Shower water was hot, but sink faucet wouldn't get hot. Only real issue was that I picked a spot 2 sites from a bathhouse due to having a pregnant camper with us but it turned out to be closed due to water not being able to be turned off-a sign at entrance or on that bldg or on website would have allowed us to choose a different site before unpacking. The next one over was about a 3 minutes walk so not bad but boy is it dark when she had to go at 4AM. There were some hiking trail options but we did not go on them.

A lovely campground. Close to town. My only complaint is that only 1 of the 3 bath houses was open. The camp host allowed us to move to a campsite closer to the working bath house.

A great place to spend time before and after riding bikes or hiking in teh area. The sites are somewhat rustic, but adequate and well maintained. There are plenty of trees between sites, affording privacy. There are 3 bathhouses in each loop, but two were out of order at Beaver. It's very quiet at night. Campers around us were respectful of quiet time and light out.
