Roamstead

This was our first visit to Roamstead and our first trip with our travel trailer to the Smokey Mountains. It was an awesome experience!

Our trailer site was 35 and had an amazing view and access to water that ran through the grounds. There was plenty of space for our 30 foot Grand Design trailer.

The grounds and common areas were very well kept. You could see the staff daily, making sure the sites were kept up and they looked very well maintained. The sites rest rooms and showers were very clean and well maintained as well.

The staff at the lodge were helpful and friendly. We will be visiting again and try one of the cabins or yurts.

we loved our stay. Roamstead is really such a unique experience in the way that it feels like a small community of people coming together. Wether at breakfast in the lobby, your cabin neighbors enjoying their fire outside, or simply seeing kids running around and playing. The staff were also incredible! So friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food and drinks offered in the lobby for breakfast and dinner were great! The cabin itself was adorable. Very cute and quiet. The bathroom was clean, the shower pressure and temperature was incredible, and the shower products felt luxurious. We genuinely had such a lovely stay.

The best campground I have ever stayed at! Super friendly and helpful staff, we checked in after hours from a long trip back from Florida and someone came over and showed us to our site. Very clean and the restrooms are top notch. Love the creek running through the campground. So close to everything, trails shopping, restaurants. The absolutely perfect place to stay! Will definitely be staying at Roamstead again.

I stayed at Roamstead over MLK weekend and had the best experience. The main lodge where you check in is so cute - there’s a coffee bar area and a sitting area with a fireplace and a shelf with all kinds of card games and board games. They also have a merch area to the left of the check in counter if you want to get a Roamstead hoodie, crewneck, beanie, mug, t-shirt, or other souvenir. Directly behind the main lodge are the fire pit areas. There are about 4 to 5 chairs around each one. At the end of the day, it was so cozy sitting around the fire. I only wish the sky was clear enough to see the stars, it would’ve been the perfect touch!

Now on to my actual stay. I stayed in Oak 10, a one level, two bedroom cabin.The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, and I like that you could control the heat in each room. Plus there was a space heater if you needed it.

Lastly, I can’t say enough nice things about the staff. The staff is so lovely and every time I went into the main lodge they greeted me warmly and I felt welcome. I also have to give a special shoutout to Ryan who helped me with my car when it died on me in the parking area. He was so kind and if not for him I would’ve went into full panic mode.

I’ll definitely be back again.
