What Guests Are Saying
Cages Bend Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location on Old Hickory Lake, well-maintained sites, and friendly, helpful hosts, Tanya and Donnie. Campers appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, spacious sites, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. While some noted the lack of sewer hookups and rocky shorelines for boating, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

We were very impressed with Cages Bend Campground. In fact it was our favorite campground during our August 6 to Sept 23, 202, 6523 mile RV trip!
Even though someone was in our assigned site on arrival, the Camp Host was able to provide us with a new site that was very nice. We loved the lake setting and the level, well spaced sites. We will definately come back to Cages Bend if we are ever in the area again.

Pretty view of the lake. It’s hilly so a little hard to ride a bike. Many of the campsites have steps up or down to the table and fire pit. There is only one bathhouse and it definitely could use a makeover but it is clean and the showers work well. The camp host is very nice. We look forward to camping here again.

This was my first trip. Great campground but the signs turning off of Cages Bend should be replaced with ones you can see. Had two people in our group miss the turn and did not see the Corp sign due to being very faded. Guy at the end of the road said he see's people back there trying to turn around every week. Campground host was very nice.
