Our camping experience at Cages Bend Campground was very enjoyable. For the age of the campground it has been well maintained. The water pressure was really good and the bath house was good and clean. We are new to RV'ing and this was our first outing. We choose Cages Bend because we grew up in the area and wanted to visit a site that we were somewhat familiar with. We were not disappointed in any way. Everyone was friendly and the site manager stopped by to say hi and make sure all was well. We camped at a site right on the water (#30) and we were worried about mosquitos but didn't have the first issue. This site allowed for visibly beautiful views of the lake with both incredible sunrise and sunsets. We will return again for close to home weekend getaways!

Beautiful park with lake access. Ok, sites. Firepits/ Grills not really. They are some sort of portable wobbly small firestand. No concessions or park merch. available - so be prepared. Extremely HOT, Stifling, uncomfortable restroom/ showers.
The town of Gallatin is close by, approx 10-15 mins away with plenty of restaurants.
