Very nice stay while traveling through this region of TN. Those sites that are not on the water are very spacious and mostly level. The waterside sites are closer together. There’s a mix of pad surfaces with some being gravel and others being concrete. Would definitely return!

Park is in great shape. Bath house clean. Park attendant is very friendly, and will to help in any way he can.
Site 16 is extremely hard to get into with a 26’ trailer Camper without damaging the truck. It needs more pavement as a larger entrance on the Southwest corner, so the drive will be wider to back in to. That site I will never get again. All other sites are excellent.

The park was clean and well manicured. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were spacious, paved and level. The was plenty of room between sites. The views of the lake were nice as well. We didn't have good weather so we didn't get to enjoy being out and walking around.

Well kept campground! Large sites with many on the water. Love the later checkout time. Helps to avoid a backup at the dump site. Easy access to highways. We have already booked again!

From Nashville, TN, travel North on I-65 and take TN-386/Vietnam Veterans Blvd. Continue to exit 12, Big Station Camp Blvd. Turn right onto Big Station Camp Bldvd. Continue staight across Nashville Pike onto Cages Bend Road. Take Cages Bend Road to Benders Ferry Road. The recreation area will be ahead on the left.
Cages Bend is accessible via Benders Ferry Road, which connects to State Route 109 approximately 5 miles to the west, providing access to Interstate 40 about 10 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- All campsites require a reservation; walk-ins are not allowed.
- Check-in time is at 3:00 PM and check-out time is at 12:00 PM.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; purchase it locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
