With only 10 campsites and no RV sites it is the perfect quiet getaway with great trails and rivers all right there. There is a place to wash dishes, a restroom, and a bearproof garbage container for all the necessities. Beautiful, quiet, and just a lovely place to be at peace.

Great sites in a beautiful location. Good access to trails and a great staging point for trips into the park’s eastern backcountry. Just wish there was a shower!

The road back in to the campground area is riddled with potholes. Bathrooms were very clean and tidy and HAD SOAP!! YAY!! Wasn't sure if we were supposed to wash dishes at the sink by the bathrooms or at campsite and pitch washwater away from campsite area. I used the sink. Missed seeing a camp host. Campsites were well maintained. Wonderful campground. My favorite!

Perfect spot on the eastern side of GSMNP! Limited number of tent only spots was perfect to get out into nature. Two creeks/streams converge on the edge of the campground and the sound of the water was sweet music. Limited cell service was fantastic to disconnect. Several great hikes right from my tent door. Looking forward to a time when I can go back and spend more days there exploring.
